These regulations are valid to all existing Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes of REVA University. Academic Regulations shall also applicable to new programmes that may be introduced in future by the University.  In case of any specific regulations/requirements, pertaining to any governing bodies for any of the programmes shall be incorporatedinto the concerned programme. 

Academic regulations as prescribed by the University may be changed, modified or updated based on the regulations of government bodies or governing bodies. REVA University exercises strict regulations to establish its competencies in the field of higher education. Academic regulations are used to gain respect, gratitude and confidence of all stakeholders including parents, students, alumni and society as a whole. 

All programmes offered should fulfil the academic standards and quality as prescribed by the Academic Council, Researchand Innovation Council and Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the University. The University structured its academic programmes through Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Continuous Assessment and Grading Pattern (CAGP), which enable the students to choose their core subjects and electives. 

Academic reforms may happen from time to time in order to offer education of global standards that help the students to develop employability skills. The eligibility criteria for the admission of students to different programmes shall be as prescribed by the University. In case of equivalent qualification for various programmes, the University will notify the same on the website as and when required. 

The decisions made on the academic regulations shall be as decided by the University, which is mandatory and final. The University has the right to issue clarifications in case of doubts or irregularity in the rules and regulations after implementation.
