Short Film Festival, Liverpool University, UK 

Our partner Liverpool University, UK is organizing Online MA Short Film Festival and have invited our students participation, the festival starts from April 16, 2021 amidst a flurry of media interviews, previews, social media and judging with industry professionals. 

The best film in each strand will receive a 'Paper Bird Award', designed by MA student Beth Moore and the competition will be decided by independent juries made up of student-academic-industry professional and winners announced in an online ceremony on April 21 on festival website. 

The festival will take place online from the 16th to the 23rd April on the LJMU MA Short Film Festival's website: https://ljmumashortfilmfestival.org/. U C Berkeley Extension Programme

As per the announcement of the Director-Global Studies, Jennie Akune and in keeping with the spread of COVID-19 the University will be unable to host students to study abroad in Berkeley for the fall 2020 semester. In addition, many international students currently face visa and travel restrictions that will prevent them from coming to Berkeley this fall.
Hence the academic advisors at the University have begun outreach to all Fall 2020 accepted students to discuss their options to defer, cancel and/or pursue a remote opportunity affiliated with their program. The University advisors will provide personalized support to each of the students about their various options.
U C Berkeley Global is also hosting a Virtual Fair regarding their Fall programs on July 20th and July 23rd. Please use this Virtual Fair Registration link to register and to share with your students for them to register as well.

  • Students visiting REVA from Liverpool to study in the summer and winter schools of the Schools of Architecture and Performing Arts
  • Liverpool has offered work-based placement opportunities for REVA students which includes internship for 4-8 weeks in the UK

REVA has initiated the first Extension programme for Schools of Applied Sciences, Business Studies and Legal Studies with U C Berkeley.  As we all know U C Berkeley is the one of the largest Public Universities and Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is the second oldest business school in the United States.  

UC Berkeley Extension International Programs will be carried out through mobility of undergraduate and/or graduate students under the Berkeley Global Access Program, Berkeley Haas Global Access Program, Legal Studies Global Access Program, Immersives and Professional Diploma Programs, Concurrent Enrollment Program, and the Berkeley Physics International Education (BPIE) Program.

This programme is open for the Business School students, Legal Studies students, School of Applied Sciences (Physics) students desiring to go for their Extension study of a semester abroad

Session B: June 8 - August 14, 2020

Session 12W: May 26 - August 14, 2020

UC Riverside offers the following programmes for students to take up:

1] UCP-

IQS Barcelona

REVA has two active engagements with IQS Barcelona:  Masters in International Marketing in a Digital Environment offered as a 1 year programme for students of the BBA aspiring to progress to their higher studies and also to students of the MBA for their student exchange programme where they can do one semester with IQS.  The second engagement is for the Master in Industrial Business Management where students from different fields such as Engineering studies, Psychology, International Relations, Economics can opt for the following: Complete 30ECTS approx. at IQS SM from February  until mid June (the other 30 ECTS are taken at REVA university) After the competition of the Master in Barcelona students will achieve the official Master approved by the European Union.


University for the Creative Arts (UCA)

University for the Creative Arts, UK who were here at REVA late December, 2019 have come forward to invite our students to their International Creative Summer School programme to be held at Canterbury, UK between the 20th of July, 2020 and 31st of July, 2020. (2 weeks)

Module 1: Automotive and Mobility Studies

Overview: The program explores modern automotive technologies and concepts of mobility, including: fundamentals of vehicle physics and driving resistances, alternative concepts for the powertrain of vehicles, energy storage systems in vehicles, and the grid integration of electric vehicles.
3 weeks (June 22 to July 10, 2020)
Module 2: Mechatronic Systems Engineering and Product Innovation

Overview: Students explore fundamental issues in industrial robotics and related mechatronic systems, properties of transmission and information, the relationship between coding and the limits of information, and systematically develop a mechatronic system.
4 weeks (July 6 to 31, 2020)
Module 3: Automation and Simulation

Overview: The program covers fundamentals used in automation and simulation. In exercises and computer lab classes, students solve real world problems. As a result, methods used in mechanical engineering are tried, tested and acquired.

Module 4: Production Technology meets Industry 4.0

Overview: Industry 4.0 is an initiative by the German government which promotes the integration of industrial production with information and communication technologies. The program enables students to acquire a better understanding of current and future requirements in production technology.

Module 5: Robotics for Future Industrial Applications

Overview: This program is all about the engineering, controlling and programming of robots. The lectures introduce fundamental theoretical knowledge in robotics and are complemented by lab classes, in which students apply their acquired knowledge in practical projects.

Module 1: Sustainable Energy Technology

OverviewThe program introduces mathematical and physical basics of building energy performance modeling and simulation, the implementation of models using computer-based numerical methods, computer algebra systems and object-oriented modeling language Modelica.

Module 2: Smart Electrical Power Systems
: Students receive an overview of current challenges and new technologies with regards to the future electric grid. Topics include the distribution and transfer of direct current, measurement and monitoring methods in modern power systems, as well as energy storage systems.
