Another placement season has ended, and I am thrilled about our students' outstanding performance, setting a new benchmark for placement records this year. Abhinandan 2024, the laudatory event organised by the Career Development Centre, held on the campus was indeed a celebration that honoured the efforts of students who secured coveted positions in renowned companies. It's incredibly fulfilling to see our vision of REVA students transitioning into employment providers upon graduation becoming increasingly tangible.
This year's Abhinandan ceremony has exceeded all expectations, setting a new benchmark for our university. With a staggering 3006 offers (and still counting) from prestigious firms and companies, it is a testament to the dedication and quality of education at REVA University. The highest CTC offered stood at an impressive 64 LPA (Lakhs Per Annum), showcasing the calibre of talent nurtured at our University. Additionally, the highest internship stipend offered was a remarkable 75K per month, highlighting the recognition and value placed on our students by industry leaders.
Navigating today's competitive job market is no easy feat, and it is indeed a testament to our Career Development Centre's strategic planning, tireless efforts, and commitment to student success that we have achieved such remarkable results. The team's dedication to its motto, "We Promise, We Deliver," has been evident in every step of the placement process, ensuring that our students are well-prepared and equipped to excel in their chosen careers.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the 432 companies that visited our campus during the Academic Year 2023-24 for their crucial contribution to our success. Their recognition of
REVA University as a talent hub reflects the dedication and hard work of our students and faculty.
Our university's commitment to holistic education has consistently borne fruit, particularly through our departure from traditional academic approaches. Emphasising skill-based training, and project work, and fostering a culture of experimentation and curiosity has consistently yielded positive outcomes. This symbiotic relationship between industry and students is a testament to the effectiveness of our approach.
As I often emphasise, our young hopefuls should not be solely motivated by lucrative salaries, but rather emerge from this esteemed University as a job provider. I firmly believe in this principle, advocating for each REVAite to prioritise following their heart rather than their head. Your alma mater stands ready to provide guidance, support, and motivation whenever you need it. I want all of you to recognise the unique opportunity you have been given and embrace the responsibility to excel in the world, contributing to your country's progress and bringing honour to REVA through your achievements.
