Global Warming Vs Climate Change- Know the Difference

A large chunk of the general population thinks that global warming and climate change are the same phenomena. The general populace uses these expressions interchangeably and they think that the root cause of both these environmental issues is the same. For your information, global warming is the rise in earth’s average temperature and climate change is the change in climatic patterns occur due to the inappropriate increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and utilisation of fossil fuels. Both these phenomena have an alarming effect on our planet. If you want to provide a healthy and peaceful atmosphere for our future generations, then you must start taking pivotal steps, else it will be too late.

Global warming has adverse effects on wildlife, flora, and marine life as well. Ice sheets are melting, glaciers are shrinking, and the ozone layer is depleting – these are only a few to mention but the list goes on. Myriads of environmentalists are already showing their concern and making pleas to the society to act now to prevent further environmental damage. The average global temperature has risen by 3 degree Celsius in the past 2 decades, which is not a good sign. We must start using recycled products and should lessen the use of fossil fuels to make the earth a better place to live. If the present trend continues, the average temperature will increase drastically in the imminent future and it will be difficult for every single organism to live on earth.
