Hiring the right candidate for an organisation is an excruciating task because they have to take care of several things such as behaviour, skillset, personality, knowledge, and attitude. Create a striking resume

How does an employer decide to hire? Typically, a prospective employer works parallel with a Human Resource executive to shortlist the right candidates. To shortlist the candidates, the HR team will check the resumes of the applicants for academic qualifications, skill-sets and job experience. While scrutinising the resumes, they will check whether the candidate is capable of fulfilling all their organisational and departmental requirements. Screening of the applicant

Once the resumes are shortlisted, next comes the applicant screening. Here, the shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. This is the next step in the hiring process and an employer will judge you the most during the interview process. If you are called for an interview, be presentable and confident. Try to answer all their questions, but never be overconfident while facing the interview board.  If you are overconfident, you might feel relaxed but interviewers may consider it as arrogance.

Today, employers prefer people who can work as a team. An organisation is made up of multiple teams to work in an efficient manner and unison. During an interview, the interviewer gauges you whether you can work effortlessly with different teams. Your college projects, extracurricular activities and internships will showcase your teamwork skills to the interview board. When you ask questions on the department structure and future team, they will consider it as a positive sign.
