We are seeking visionary leaders for the roles of Deans and Directors to guide academic faculties and departments in achieving the university’s mission and objectives.
Qualifications for Dean and COE:
- Minimum 10 years of academic experience with demonstrated strategic skills for the job, with at least 03 years in a leadership role and the minimum age for applying is 35 years.
Qualifications for Directors:
- Minimum 08 years of relevant professional experience, with 03 years in a managerial capacity and the minimum age for applying is 32 years.
Key Responsibilities for Deans and Directors::
- Provide leadership and strategic direction.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure quality assurance.
- Build stakeholder relationships and ensure departmental excellence.
We categorically mention that - in relation to the positions of Pro VC, Registrar, Dean, Controller of Examinations, Directors following conditions apply:
- Within three months from the date of an appointment, the appointee’s contributions will be reviewed against the established deliverability criteria (mutually agreed upon at the time of appointment). Should an appointee’s performance align with University’s expectations, the system will initiate the process for the continuation of the appointee in the same position.
- Strong communication, operational management, and strategic planning skills are pre-requisites
