Vice Chancellor

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to steer REVA University into its next chapter of excellence. This pivotal role is designed for a forward-thinking individual capable of navigating the complexities of modern academia and driving strategic initiatives to elevate the institution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of academic experience as a Professor in a University system or in equivalent position, and with at least five years in a senior leadership role in higher education or a related field, preferably in a senior administrative role.
  • Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven record of strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and ethical governance.
  • Minimum age: 54 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define or align and implement a vision for academic excellence and innovation.
  • Cultivate partnerships and enhance the university’s national and international reputation.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
  • Vice Chancellor's position demands a unique blend of administrative acumen and academic prowess to drive the institution towards greater heights of accomplishment.
  • Hence this appointment to the position of Vice - Chancellor comes with a set of mutually agreed upon deliverables that will serve as the benchmark for further evaluation of an appointee’s performance
  • Within six months from the date of an appointment, the appointee’s contributions will be reviewed against the established deliverability criteria (mutually agreed upon at the time of appointment). Should an appointee’s performance align with our expectations, we will initiate the process for the continuation of the appointee as the Vice Chancellor of the University
