Bachelor of Business Administration (In Retail Management)

BBA in Retail Management is a three-year undergraduate program divided into six semesters. The program emphasises on CRM, Sales Management, Pre and Post delivery services, attracting customers to store and ensuring customer satisfaction. Students will be made to focus on Retail marketing, Store Operations, Buying, Merchandising and Customer Management. The main objective of the program is to bring in an understanding about Retail management perspective. The program encompasses the industry requirements and aims at enhancing the skills and competencies required for employment. The teaching pedagogy in addition to Digital mode offers a blend of practical exposure in the form of Internships, Major and Minor project work, Presentations, Challenging Assignments, Field visits and International visits. The program also focuses on developing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and developing an understanding about retail operations, the program also emphasises on taking up various certification courses offered in addition to regular degree that is offered by the University.

The aim of the programme is to produce motivated, innovative and creative graduates for business sector to fill the roles of executives to assist/ to manage marketing, sales, finance and accounts, operations, public relations, logistics, supply chain management and related management activities. With further education and earning of higher level degrees help the graduates to pursue a career in management, academics or research organisations.

The Programme Educational Objectives are to prepare the students to:

  • Pass in PUC/10+2 with an aggregate of 75% of any recognized Board/Council 0r any other qualification recognized as Equivalent there to with an aggregate 60 percentage.
