Overview

This undergraduate programme is designed to give greater emphasis on Cloud Computing and Big Data analytics, and teach fundamental concepts of how Cloud Systems and Cloud Technologies such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Open Stack work. Students will learn the concepts of virtualization, private & public clouds. 

Students will become proficient in "Big Data” on various platforms. Besides learning from hands-on projects, this programme will include knowledge transfer by industry experts. The lab sessions cover cloud application development and deployment, use of cloud storage, creation and configuration of virtual machines. It also covers data analysis on cloud using data mining tools. 

A variety of activities such as mini projects, seminars, interaction with industries, cultural activities and social activities are part of the pedagogy. 

The B.Sc. (Honors) in Computer Science (Cloud Computing & Big Data) at REVA University has been designed by industry experts. Cloud-based subjects are handled by corporate trainers and it is on a par with the industry standards.

Be cloud engineers, data analysts, data scientists and cloud architects and operate various cloud-related commercial software tools to solve scientific and business problems.
