Eligibility Criteria

Passing in PUC /10+2 with Biology as compulsory subject. Scoring at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) from any recognized Board /Council or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

Overview

B.Sc. (B.B.G) at REVA UNIVERSITY is a three-year bachelor’s degree programme through six semesters. It is a combination of triple major subjects which emphasizes studies related to the field of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Engineering, and Chemical Sciences. The programme has a wide scope is designed to produce graduates with higher order critical, analytical, problem solving and research skills; ability to think rigorously and independently to meet higher level expectations of biotech industries, research organization and academic institutions. The programme also provides sufficient skills and training on entrepreneurship development in Biotechnology. The programme deals with courses on Cell Biology, Microbiology, Genetic Engineering, Biochemistry; Medical, Animal, Forensic and Environmental Biotechnology, biochemical techniques and processes, entrepreneurship, and many other related courses. The curriculum is designed to aid students for employability and higher studies.

After successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:
