Eligibility Criteria

Pass in PUC / 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together, of any Board recognized by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there to. Good score in REVA University Common Entrance Test (REVA CET ) or CET / COMED-K / Uni-GAUGE or any other equivalent examination conducted by recognized Institute / Agency. "

Overview

B.Tech. in Electrical and Computer Engineering as an academic discipline in India that offers a unique combination of electrical and computer-related specialization. It opens doors to both a specialized professional career and higher studies such as MECE, M.Tech., Ph.D. etc.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Computer Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course divided into 8 semesters, each lasting 6 months in duration. As a student here one will have the flexibility, to choose their own softcore subjects starting from 4th semester; ECE offers vibrancy and depth in a wide range of courses that will open doors to almost any career one can imagine. Students can create their own blend of qualifications by choosing to go deep in domains of their interest; it can be in the fields of Power and Energy Systems, Computers and Information Technology, Communication Electronics, and Power Electronics.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The programme helps to develop critical, analytical, innovative, creative and problem solving abilities amongst its graduates. After undergoing this programme, a student will be able to:

PO 1

An ability to understand the concept, identify, formulate, and solve complex electrical & computer engineering problems by applying knowledge & principles of engineering, science, and mathematics

PO 2

Identify, formulate, review research literature, analyze, interpret and draw conclusions from quantitative & qualitative data of an electrical and computer system, component, or process to meet desired needs.

PO 3

Design solutions for engineering problems and system components related electrical & computer systems that meet economic, environmental, social, political, health and safety, and sustainability requirements.

PO 4

Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions in the field of electrical & computer engineering.

Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex electrical circuits, computer codes for electrical applications with an understanding of the limitations
