“Physics is theoretical, but the fun is real!”

M.Sc. (Physics) at REVA UNIVERSITY has been designed to meet the demands of the existing and the future research establishments, industries and academic institutions. The programme aims to produce graduates with higher order critical, analytical, problem solving and research skills. Students will acquire the ability to think rigorously and independently to meet higher level expectations of the industries, organisations and society through the two-year programme. The programme introduces students to areas like classical mechanics, quantum mechanics, material science, semiconductors, electrodynamics and related areas.

what makes the programme unique?

  • Physics is an exciting intellectual adventure that inspires young people and expands the frontiers of our knowledge about nature.
  • Physics generates fundamental knowledge needed for the future technological advances that will continue to drive the economic engines of the world.
  • Physics contributes to the technological infrastructure and provides trained personnel need to take the advantage of scientific advances and discoveries.
  • Physics is an important element in the education of chemists, engineers and computer scientists, as well as practitioners of the other physical and biomedical sciences.
