About the Conference:
The 2-day International Interdisciplinary Conference on “Narratives, Self and Identities: Traditions and Innovations” will be held on 30th and 31st August 2021 virtually on MS Teams platform. The conference focuses on the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary area of narrative studies. Narratives are analyzed in different disciplines and various disciplines borrow concepts and methodologies from each other. The conference aims to explore the inter-connected areas of memory, self, and identity and their relationship with collective (public) and individual (private/ personal) narratives. The conference would also focus on the various aspects of ideology, memory, myth, situation, audience, nation, etc. to discuss the construction of narratives in various contexts – social, psychological, political, historical, and many more.
Call for Papers: Original and unpublished research papers are invited for presentation in the multi-disciplinary areas related to the conference theme on the following topics (but not restricted to):
Paper Presenters (Teachers/ Research Scholars/ Students) – INR 500
Participants (non paper presenters) – INR 100

Notification of Acceptance – 25th July 2021
Last Date of Registration and payment of fees – 1st August 2021
*Submission of abstract separately is not required.
The conference paper, not exceeding 3000 words, should be submitted as per the latest MLA specifications in MS Word document as an email attachment only. Further, the paper should contain the full name/s of the author/s, designation, institutional affiliation, email ID and contact number. A maximum number of three co-authors per paper will be allowed. All the submitted papers will be sent for peer review and plagiarism check and the author/s will be notified the outcome of the review process. Papers should be mailed only to firstname.lastname@example.org within 20th July 2021. Papers sent to any other email IDs and after the last date will not be accepted.
All accepted papers for presentation will be published in a Conference Proceedings with ISBN and electronic copy of the same will be given to all the authors. Selected papers will be published in UGC CARE List/ Scopus/ Web of Science journal with extra publication charges.
