3rd International Conference on Recent Research in Emerging Trends in Civil Engineering (ICRRETCE2019)12th and 13th July of 2019

The school of civil engineering has organized two days international conference “Recent research in emerging trends in civil engineering (ICRRETCE-2019)-12th and 13th July of 2019.  The main objective of the conference was focused to provide platform to young researchers and engineers, academicians and PG students, to present their research findings of their respective domains of knowledge shared ideas and viewed in various fields of civil engineering .About 180 delegates attended the conference.

The conference stared with inaugural session by Dr. P. Shyamaraju, chancellor, REVA University, Dr.S. Y. Kulkarni, Vice-chancellor, REVA University, Dr. M. Dhanamjaya, R, REVA University, Dr. Bale .V. Reddy, Dr. Y .Ramalinga Reddy, Associate Dean (C&ME) and Director, school of Civil Engineering and Dr. K. S Narayan Swamy, Director, school of mechanical engineering.

In the conference total received abstract were 224 and 172 were accepted for presentation.

The first session key note address was given by Dr. Bale .V. Reddy, Professor, University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Oshawa, Canada on topic “Second Law of Thermodynamics and its Role in the Performance Analysis and Improvement of Combined Cycle Power Generation and Integrated Energy Systems”

Second essin started with presentaion of paper on Day 1 and over 70 papers were presented of their respective domains of knowledge ,shared ideas and views in varioues fields of civil engineering .           

On second day (13th July 2019) began with a keynote lecture-2 by Dr. Vijay Gopal, Scientist ‘C’, Disaster Management Planning Division, Central Water and Power research Station, Pune, India on topic “Dam break analysis and emergency action plan for disaster management and planning”. Keynote lecture-3 was address by Dr. G. L Sivakumar Babu, Professor, Geotechnical Division, Department of Civil Engineering IISc, Bengaluru on topic “Recent development in Geotechnical engineering” and later 100 papers were presented in their respective domain of knowledge, shared ideas and views in various field of civil engineering. At the end, the programme was concluded by interactive session.
