The Industrial visit to Hindustan Coca Cola beverages Pvt ltd, Bangalore has been organized on 3rd of October 2018 for MBA, 3rd sem C section, REVA University. Hindustan Coca- Cola is the largest bottling partner of the Coca-Cola Company in India.

The batch started for Coca-Cola industrial visit with full enthusiasm from the REVA campus at sharp 9am and reached at 11:00. By 11.15am the company representatives have given a surety demo before entering in the premise for looking the production unit.

Firstly, they took us to canteen for refreshments, and further they led us to the main production unit, where, first we got to see the manufacturing of glass bottles for Maaza, continued by the session of the production of Coca-Cola bottles, wherein, for every 1 minute 650 bottles are manufactured and concentrated cola gets filled in the bottles.

There are two different manufacturing sections in the factory; one is for soft drinks like Maaza, Frooti, and all other juices which are prepared through the use of fruit pulp. And, the other section is for the production of beverages like Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Limca etc. We got to know how water gets purified, as in to what temperature the water will be heated to purify it.

The production takes place only when there is a high requirement by the customers, and during summer season the production goes on for the entire season. The supply of all the beverages takes place through the wholesaler, and further from there the beverages are supplied through agents as per the retailers or the customer’s requirements.

At the last, the students queries has been taken up about the production of bottles, beverages, there in-house team for production and strategies for any emergency. The responses gained were acknowledged by all the students. We thank the school of management studies for providing us this opportunity to learn and interact with the professional.
