The School of CIVIL had arranged a fest Aakrithi 2k19 dated on 30th April 2019 ,for the students and teachers. The decorations and preparations for the fest began a week before the fest , students with the help of teachers put up more than 15 events for the fest.
Several pre-events were held on Monday 29th April to create a fest environment in the campus , events like bottle flip , football kick , ball and bat were held .
On Tuesday 30th April a official inauguration ceremony was held for the fest in seminar hall at 9:00 am , Dr.Y.Ramalinga Reddy, Director, School Of Civil Engineering, Prof. Sreenivasulu Reddy , President , Student Welfare Club ,HOD School Of Civil Engineering with other faculties and students of Civil Department inaugurated the event by lightning the lamp .
Later the fest commenced at 10:30 am at several venues with events like , Classical Solo Singing, Classical Dance , Western Dance , Debate ,Cooking Without Fire , Face Painting, Treasure hunt, GOT quiz , F.R.I.E.N.D.S quiz etc. were held .
Several Food stalls And fun activity stalls were put outside Sir.M.Vishveswarayya block by the students of School of Civil Engineering.
In the afternoon at 2:00 pm Teachers-Events like Hogathon , Musical Chairs, Balloon Blowing etc. was held for the faculty of Civil Department by the students
Aakrithi 2k19 got over 120+ registrations for the events , Students of different schools participated in all the events held ,winners were awarded with cash price , each event in Aakrithi was successfully accomplished.
