REPORT ON: “ALUMNI INTERACTIVE SESSION”

Target Audience: 170 Third Semester MBA Finance Students
Ms. Srishti, a 2019 B.B.A. passed out was invited to share her experiences of her exposure and her initial experiences at a leading stock broking house in the city of Bangalore.
The session was planned for the final year MBA students to give them the flavour of how it will be to work in different kinds of service oriented companies. Ms. Srishti is currently working as a management trainee in Federal Capital Markets Private Limited.
Ms. Srishti spoke about her experience of working as a management trainee at Federal and shared her experience about a short tenure that she has gone through. She also discussed with the students about the importance of making financial planning and the need for investment. She put across a point that the students rather than solely depending upon their parents’ for meeting their daily expenses should look for opportunities of making money by actively taking part in trading of shares which can be highly rewarding if planned and thought about carefully.
The session was well received by the students who also interacted with Ms. Srishti about their doubts regarding the concepts of investments.
