School of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (SoEEE), in association with the REVA University Alumni Association, successfully organized an insightful alumni session titled "Wired for Innovation: Journey from Engineering to UI/UX Mastery" on February 28, 2025. The session, held at the CNR Rao Seminar Hall, C V Raman Block, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, was attended by an enthusiastic audience of students from SoEEE. The event featured Mr. Prem Kumar S., an esteemed alumnus from the 2017-21 batch, who is currently working as a Young Innovator - HMI Engineer at Suprajit Technology Center. With his expertise in UI/UX design, he shared valuable insights on how engineering principles can be seamlessly integrated into the world of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design. During the session, Mr. Prem Kumar delved into the importance of design thinking, human-machine interaction, and innovation in modern UI/UX development. He discussed his professional journey, highlighting the transition from engineering to the dynamic field of UI/UX mastery. The session also provided students with practical knowledge and industry-oriented perspectives on how engineers can leverage their technical background to excel in UI/UX roles. A key highlight of the session was the interactive discussion, where students actively participated, raising queries about career pathways, industry expectations, and skill development. The event received an overwhelming response, with 95% engagement in UI-related discussions and 75% focus on UX topics. The School of EEE extends heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Prem Kumar S. for sharing his knowledge and inspiring students to explore new career avenues.
