ALUMNI TALK : Mr. Makhadumsab Toragall

Mr. Makhadumsab Toragall, Research scholar, P. G. Dept. of Biotechnology & Microbiology, Karnatak University, was invited to REVA University to interact with PG students. He delivered a talk on his domain of research on “Male infertility”.
A detailed discussion of male infertility, the causes and various research approaches to identify the markers associated were shared with students. Students were briefed about the influence of various factors in male infertility including socio-demographic factors.
Later he also shared the means by which students can get into international collaboration for taking up their research. He emphasized that more than a Ph.D. degree , research can be very rewarding in terms of a promising career, monetary benefits and personal satisfaction.
He also motivated the students to pursue research in their own area of interest and stressed that each work should culminate in paper publication.
The overall interaction was good and students are benefitted through his talk. They also gave a positive feedback and willing to collaborate with the resource person for further guidance.
