Title: Alumni Talk Report on “BEST IDEA COMPETITION”

Description: We the team 3 members from School of Electronics and Communication Engineering are very happy to share that we had organized “Best idea competition” on 30th July 2020 for the students. There were total 11 batches, each batch consisting of min of three students from 3rd, 5th and 7th semester. The topic includes the recent trends such as
• Health care sector
• Agriculture sector
• Satellite
• Automation and Robotics
• Defense applications
Two judges were there to finalize the best idea and 1st and 2nd place were declared.
1st place was given to the idea “Image processing approach for restoration/recreation of ancient sculpture” by Rishab A Badasheshi and Varsha (3rd sem students)
2nd place was given to the idea “Hand gesture based wireless controlled robot” by Brijesh R and Abhishek Damodhar N (5th sem students)
E-Certificates were given to all the aspirants who have successfully attended the competition. E banner and a few pics captured are as follows
Outcomes of Best Idea Competition
• This activity created healthy environment for the students to think and present the innovative ideas.
• Best idea competition also sown the seed to develop some of the innovative projects.
We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Sir Dr. P. Shyama Raju for providing all facilities to conduct such programmes. We extend our gratitude to our Registrar Dr M. Dhanamjaya, for his motivation, help and support in conducting this event.
We thank Dr. R.C Biradar, Director, School of ECE and Assistant Director Dr. K M Sudarshan for their constant support and guidance in organizing such events from School of ECE.
