The session was held to enable the students studying about the financial markets and equity markets to get the perspective from the practicing stock brokers. The session was all about performing technical analysis and also identifying the patterns in stock price movements and enable the investors to make better investment opportunity.

The session started with the introduction about the different kinds of investments. The speaker also enlightened the gathering about the need for making investments and the way in which one needs to perform or plan a well thought of financial planning which helps one lead a comfortable financial life through their life.

The speaker then gave an in depth analysis about performing technical analysis and to identify the patterns. The information related to the different kinds of patterns like uptrend and downtrend was graphically explained in a very student friendly way.

The information related to different kinds of charts was explained. The different charts like line chart, bar chart and Japanese candle sticks were explained visually with the help of charts. Different kinds of technical indicators like hammers, hanging man, shooting star, doji etc was explained exceptionally well.

The speaker also explained the different kinds of technical indicators like moving averages, MACD, Relative Strength Index, Open interest, Volume etc.,

In all the session was very informative which gave the practical information which only added to the subject that they are theoretically studying in the class room. In all, the session was very well received by the students and such sessions to be organised quite often.
