Ramalinga Reddy, Director - School of Civil Engineering, for providing all the facilities, support, and encouragement towards organizing this SDP Programme.
About SDP:
School of Civil Engineering has organised Five-Day Student Development Programme on “MS Office Training” during 21st - 25th March 2022. A total of 10 sessions spread over five days covering the various MS Office tools were conducted by skilled and efficient trainers from the Industry.
Course Objectives:
Day-1 On the first day i.e., 21st March 2022, topics such as Introduction to MS Office , Text documents – creation, editing and saving, Layout selection, text styles, formatting text, tables and smart art were discussed and taught.
Day-2 On Second day- 22nd March 2022, In the first session the students were trained on MS Powerpoint. The topics covered include creating, printing slides, applying custom animations, graphical representation using graphs and charts. The second session was focused on MS Excel. The topics that were discussed include, importing data in workbooks, Navigating within workbooks, Formatting worksheets and workbooks and customising options.
Day-3 On the third day- 23rd March 2022, the remaining topics related to MS Excel were discussed. Some of the key topics include, Configuring content for collaboration, Manipulating data in worksheets, formatting cells and ranges, summarizing data visually and creating, formatting and modifying tables
Day-4 On fourth day- 24th March 2022, topics related to MS excel such as Filter and sort table data, Inserting references, calculating and transforming data, formatting and modifying text, creating, modifying and formatting charts were discussed in detail.
Day-5 On the fifth day- 25th March 2022, Revision session was conducted for the tools taught in the previous days. Activities were allotted for all the students to revise the concepts effectively. The Program ended with valedictory session, with vote thanks to all the trainers. Following is the lecture schedule.
