Ramalinga Reddy, Director - School of Civil Engineering, for providing all the facilities, support, and encouragement towards organizing and conducting this SDP Programme.

About SDP:

School of Civil Engineering has organised Five-Day Student Development Programme on “Project Management Software (PMI) Training” during 19th - 30th April 2022. A total of 10 sessions spread over five days for two batches covering the various concepts in Project Management software (PMI) were conducted by skilled and efficient trainers from the Industry.

Course Objectives:

Day-1 On the first day, the students were introduced to the concepts and basic terminologies of project management planning. The students were taught to identify project roles and responsibilities and were theoretically explained the various tools and systems used for or associated with project management.

Day-2 On Second day, the students were trained to Identify common problem-solving tools and techniques, to identify attributes of a project management plan schedule, to identify attributes of executing and controlling traditional plan-based projects The students were also introduced to Traditional Plan-Based Methodologies.

Day-3 On the third day, the students were trained to Identify attributes of plan iterations of a project, to Identify agile roles and responsibilities, to Identify attributes of document project controls of an agile project, to Identify components of an agile plan. The students were also introduced to concepts like Agile Frameworks/Methodologies.

Day-4 On fourth day, the students were trained to Identify attributes of stakeholder communication and were introduced to concepts related to Business Analysis Frameworks, components of product delivery and product roadmap attributes.

Day-5 On the fifth day, Revision session was conducted for concepts taught in the previous days. Activities were allotted for all the students to revise the concepts effectively. The Program ended with valedictory session, with vote thanks to all the trainers. Following is the lecture schedule.
