Department of Media Studies, School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences of REVA University inaugurated Campus Radio - REVA Dhwani on 26th March 2021. It was inaugurated by Dr. P. Shyamaraju, Chancellor, REVA University.
To mark the occasion, Chief Guest of the programme, Dr. P. Shyramraju was interviewed by the budding RJs of the School at REVA Media centre. Talking to the core team of campus radio, Dr. P. Shyamraju expressed his happiness and urged the team to uphold the legacy of REVA University.
REVA Dhwani Campus radio is an initiative by students who are pursuing their Journalism course at School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, REVA University. REVA Dhwani will be an effective medium for students and staff to get University updates while on campus. Besides entertaining programmes, the campus radio will announce important news related to academics. Announcements will include updates on examination dates, placement opportunities, conference and event alerts. The campus radio programme will be broadcasted in the University Campus from 5 p.m to 6 p.m, Monday to Friday.
Dr. Payel Dutta Chowdhury, Director, School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Manjunatha. M, Coordinator, Department of Media Studies graced the inauguration programme.
