The School of Commerce organised a Company Secretary Awareness Program on March 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at SVB, C K Prahalad Seminar Hall. The program educated students on the role, responsibilities, and career prospects in Company Secretaryship. It highlighted the importance of CS in corporate governance, compliance, and advisory services. The resource person explained the educational pathway, including eligibility, registration, and examination structure. Students learned about CSEET, Executive, and Professional levels, along with necessary training requirements. Guidance was provided on how undergraduates can start their CS journey and prepare for exams. The session offered strategies and resources to support CS exam preparation. Career opportunities in corporate firms, regulatory bodies, and consultancy services were also discussed. The growing demand for CS professionals across industries was emphasised.
