School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, REVA University conducted career development and Media literacy awareness sessions for PU college students in Doddaballapur, Bangalore rural district on 20.3.2023.
Mr. Manjunatha M, Coordinator media studies and Vertical head, Branding and Admissions, conducted career development session in Sri VANI P.U College, VidyaNidhi independent P.U College and Shi Kongadiyappa P.U College. In these session Prof. Manjunatha elaborately explained, different prospectus after 12th class and pointed out different avenues afford in REVA University and universities recent developments and accolades. Mr. Naveen, lecturer in maths Shri vani P.U College, Mr. Pani, Lecturer in maths, VidyaNidhi College and Mr. Sreekanth, Physical education department, shree. Kongadiyappa College were present in the session in their respective premises.
Post lunch concepts like information and its role in the society and threats of fake news are explained to the R.L Jalapa P.U College and Government first grade college, Doddaballapura PU students.
Overall 350 students in the town got benefited from the different sessions. Dr. Ravi kumar, Prinicipal, RL Jallapa, P.U college thanked the REVA university, Chancellor Dr. P. Shyamaraju for initiating these sessions for the rural students.
