Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) Student chapter in association with School of Computer Science and Engineering organized “CODE WARS 2.0 Competition” on 26th September 2022 from 02:00 PM to 04:20 PM for B. Tech students.

CODE WARS 2.0 Competition

The Code Wars Competition event was conducted to all the erudite students who were willing to participate in the fun quiz and technical rounds. The competition was open to all B Tech students.

The competition was conducted in three rounds: (Individual or in Teams)

Round 1: Technical Round

A coding round based on logic, data structures and algorithms with any language of their choice.

The students were given some coding questions and were to solve them in HackerRank portal. Questions given were of different difficulty levels and points were allocated accordingly.

Round 2: Quiz

A quiz based on Tech and CS Fundamentals on Kahoot Platform

Questions were displayed on screen and within stipulated time the answers were to be submitted.

Round 3: Decipher the Code

The participants were given a hash, the first ones to decrypt the codes with the following hints got the points.

Further with the accumulation of scores from all the three rounds the winners for the Code Wars 2.0 Competition were selected.

The event ended with Dr. Farooque Azam motivating the students to take part in more events.
