Coders Club Programmeming Hunt

Title: Coder’s club presents Programmeming Hunt
Organised: Coder’s Club
Date: 4th of March, 2020
Location: C V Raman Block.
Description:
The School of Electronics of Communication Engineering Coder’s Club successfully conducted its fifth event on the 4th of March, 2020 in C V Raman block. Delegates attending the programming hunt were students from the School of ECE in the presence of faculty coordinator Prof. Rashmi Priyadarshini B K.

The event was a programming session on three languages being C, C++, Python with 83 students participating. This was a fun event where the participants had to make a team of 2-3 and find the hidden treasure by decoding clues given in the coding language. The fastest team to decode and reach the treasure are considered the winner of the game and then the runner ups henceforth. The event became a popular hit and took a viral toll and was popularly liked by the School of ECE.
The clues were arranged and organised by the student body of the coder’s club and the volunteers of the coder’s club.

The Event began with Mr. Karthik announcing the strict instructions with do’s and don'ts of the game. The participants who wouldn’t follow the rules of the game would be disqualified. Participants followed the rules strictly and hence the event was successfully handled.

The game began at 2:30PM where all the participants were asked to gather near the cafe corner shop and were given the clues. The event coordinator Mr.Karthik started the timer and hence the game started. The participants were excited and scattered around the campus searching for the treasure. The hunt ended at 3:40 when one of the teams found the treasure and were announced the winner of the event programming hunt 2020.

We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor for providing all the facilities and support to conduct this programme. We also thank our Director, School of ECE, Dr. R.C. Biradar for his constant support and guidance. An extended thank you to our faculty coordinator prof. Rashmi Priyadharshini without whom the event wouldn’t have been a great success.
