SESSION I: Hands on QUIKGRID to generate a regular grid from google earth data points data and then display the surface as a contour map, or as a coloured 3d grid. The grid and contour lines can be exported in a variety of formats, including DXF. It is fast, easy to use and will run on modest hardware platforms.
Students were guided to extract data from google earth & generate grid via quikgrid.
SESSION II: Expert session by Ar. Meghana Raj Ma’am, Students were taught about What is contour, contour map, contour intervals, Architectural site analysis etc. Later students created 1:500 scale models using developed contour maps.
SESSION III: Expert session by Ar. Dhanakoti Sir, Architecture Site Analysis, Site and surroundings, Neighbourhood context, Site and Zoning, Natural Features, Man made features, Circulation, Utilities, Sensory, Human and Cultural, Climate etc. Diagramming finding of site, Site Evaluation: The Site, The Building, etc.
