Department of Biochemistry organised a lecture on “Development of skills in writing scientific project proposals, filing the patent applications and techno-entrepreneurship” at Dr Junjappa Seminar hall on 26th July 2019 as a part of five days FDP organised by School of Applied Sciences. The resource person was Dr M.S. Rao, Principal Scientist, IIHR, Bangalore.
He explained in detail the obstructions a researcher faces while writing project proposals. He also elaborated by giving his own examples. He stressed on the importance of revenue generated by submitting a primary proposal being utilized to submit another proposal. One should never be demotivated when their proposal is rejected as practicing is the key to make things perfect.
