Dont Drink and Drive Campaign

The students and staff of the Department of Media Studies, School of Arts and Humanities, in association with The Deccan Herald and Prajavani went on a campaign for the cause of spreading awareness among people especially during this New Year about “DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE”. This was conveyed by a street play and a rally by the students. The campaign was held at six venues including Koramangala, Indiranagar, VidhanaSoudha, Jayanagar, MG Road and Malleshwaram.

All the students and faculty members put forth their sincere efforts and creativity into making this a successful event. The crowd everywhere encouraged the enthusiasm, spirit and energy of the students.  The students encouraged crowd participation in the campaign by asking them to take a pledge along with them. This socially conscientious activity of the Media Studies students was recognized by Public News Channel and they were given the opportunity to speak about the cause.
