The Department of Biotechnology, School of Applied Sciences organized an entrepreneurship talk on “Entrepreneurship-Building character, qualities and competencies” on 12th October, 2022 by Dr. Gopi A in APJ Seminar Hall, Science Block for the first year M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc. Microbial Technology and M.Sc Bioinformatics students. Dr. Gopi is the founder of Vygnik Behavioural Services Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. He deliberated the students with how one should be in terms of developing a professional character, which qualities are equally necessary that an entrepreneur should possess and also which competencies an upcoming entrepreneur should inculcate. The entire session was highly interactive in terms of direct indulgement of students throughout the one hour session.
Dr. Gopi A spoke about the customer’s behavior in terms of selecting an item. He also introduced the students with a new app called Improvf developed in his company with regards to the benefit of students community with regards to improve their proficiency level and knowledge. The app is made in such a way that it is student friendly and easy to work with. Overall the entire session was successful in making the students to judge themselves as to where they stand among the students crowd.
