The School of Commerce, in association with the NSS unit, conducted a community outreach initiative at Sarkari Kiriya Prathamika Shale, Hunachru, focusing on the theme of Environmental Consciousness and Sustainability.
A key highlight of the program was a Tree Plantation Drive, where enthusiastic participation from students and volunteers brought new life to the surroundings through the planting of saplings across the school premises. This activity was aimed at fostering a greener environment and boosting local biodiversity.
An Awareness Talk was also organized, featuring insightful contributions from both students and faculty. The session underscored the importance of personal commitment to environmental conservation, reduction of pollution, and the adoption of sustainable lifestyle choices.
Additionally, a Demonstration on Waste Segregation was conducted to impart practical knowledge on the proper classification and disposal of biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. This session aimed to instil responsible waste management practices among the participants.
