Faculty Development Programme on Experiential Learning using National Instruments LabVIEW Software

The School of ECE has organized a Faculty Development Programme on “Experiential Learning using National Instruments LabVIEW Software” on 18th and 19th December 2019, in association with Starcom, National Instruments academic partner. The FDP was inaugurated on 18th December 2019 at 9.00 am in Aryabhata Seminar Hall, C V Raman block, under the auspices of Mr. Jaison John, Technical Support Engineer, Starcom, NI Academic Partner as Chief Guest. Honorable Vice Chancellor and the Director School of ECE have graced the Inaugural function.  
 
Day-1 of the FDP, Introduction to the LabVIEW software was deliberated and the hands-on session on the navigating through LabVIEW, control palette, data types, subVIs, Debugging a VI, graphs, arrays, loops, shifts, registers, tunnel clusters, State machine programming, Building exe file are demonstrated in the session. 

 Day-2 of the FDP, Training was given on the Basics of control design and simulation, Control system experiments, Communication module, Communication experiment are demonstrated in the session. 
The participants expressed their complete satisfaction on the learning outcomes of the FDP in terms of knowledge on LabVIEW Software. 

We would like to extend appreciations for Mr. Shiva Kumar S, Technical Manager, Mr. Jaison John, Technical Support Engineer, Mr. Umer Shariff, Product Engineer from Starcom, National Instruments academic partner for delivering such an insightful exposing to the software.  

We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor, Dr. P. Shyama Raju sir for providing all facilities and support to conduct this programme. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni sir, Advisor Dr. V G Talawar sir, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya sir, and Dean-Training, Placement and Planning, Dr. N. Ramesh sir, for their motivation, help and support in making this FDP a grand success. 

We also thank our Director, School of ECE, Dr. R C. Biradar, for his constant support and always motivating us to organize such events in the school of ECE.

We also thank all the Faculty members, Technical staffs of School of ECE for their kind support and coordination in organizing the FDP successfully.  

Feedback from participants had been taken. All the participants have expressed that the 2 days FDP was very effective and helpful for them. Prof. Anupama R delivered vote of Thanks in the end.
