Field Trip To NIMHANS

The Department of Psychology, School of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences organised a field trip to NIMHANS on the occasion of National Science Day 2023. This was scheduled on 1st of March 2023, on the theme “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”.

The field trip was organised for the fourth and sixth semester BA JEP students of REVA University. A total of 61 students were a part of this field trip. The students got to explore the science behind wellbeing, they got to experience, the thrill of touch and feel the real brain of human, they were able to participate in the interactive mind games and quiz contests. The students got an opportunity to interact with the experts in the filed of neurology, psychiatry and clinical psychology and gain tremendous knowledge. They also got an opportunity to know more about the tools and instruments and their uses in all the above respective fields. Overall, the students got to witness and gain a rich experience about human mind and body in a holistic level.

The field trip was organised by Dr Prathibha M V and the students were accompanied by Prof Kavanashri V, Department of Psychology, School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
