Film Club, School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences of REVA University conducted a Film Review activity on 27th April 2021 on Microsoft Teams. There were around 30 participants. Students from various programmes participated in the event with great fervour and enthusiasm. It was an individual event. Each student had to give a review on any film of his/her choice and convince others to watch that film. The participants came up with interesting ideas on the script/ screenplay, performance of the actors, dialogue delivery, the cathartic effects and finally on the message of the film. The event enabled the students to think creatively and critically. The event highlighted the role of films in influencing thoughts and moulding opinions.
The faculty coordinator was Prof. Swati Reddy, School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. The event was a success as it could harness an active participation and stimulate innovative and creative ideas in the participants.
