Film Club, School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences of REVA University organised a Film Screening activity on 30th March 2021 in the Language Lab of Swami Vivekananda Block. There were around 30 participants. Students from various programmes participated in the event with great fervour and enthusiasm. It was an individual event. The English film “Wonder” was screened. The film was followed by a review and a discussion. The participants came up with interesting ideas on the script/ screenplay, performance of the actors, dialogue delivery, the cathartic effects and finally on the message of the film. The event enabled the students to think creatively and critically. The event highlighted the role of films in influencing thoughts and moulding opinions.
The faculty coordinator was Prof. Swati Reddy, School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. The event was a success as it could harness an active participation and stimulate innovative and creative ideas in the participants.
