The School of Management Studies organized a session on “Financial Awareness and Consumer Training” (FACT) on 24th February 2025. This crucial initiative, funded by the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), Mumbai, aimed at equipping individuals with essential financial knowledge and skills for effective money management.
The session featured an insightful lecture by Dr. M. Muthu Gopala Krishnan, who emphasized key financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, smart financial decision-making, investments, and retirement planning. He highlighted the importance of financial literacy, consumer rights, and fraud prevention, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of personal finance.
