The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is running a campaign called "Stay Safe Online" (SSO) as part of India's G20 Presidency to raise awareness among citizens about how to stay safe in an online environment given the widespread use of social media platforms and the rapid adoption of digital payments.
The campaign involves the dissemination of multilingual awareness content in the form of infographics, cartoon stories, quizzes, short videos, posters, tips, etc. published at regular intervals on prominent social media platforms and websites to increase Cyber Security awareness amongst the general public.
As part of the G20 Stay Safe Online Campaign, multiple National Level competitions and activities have been launched. The National level competitions will run till October 2023 with monthly specific themes.
