As a continuation of best practices of REVA University, a guest lecture by Ar. Gaurav Singh was organized on 4th May on ‘Computer applications of project management’. Ar. Gaurav being an expert in the field interacted with students and gave them some useful insights into the profession and the practical applications of project management.
Ar. Gaurav started with the introduction of various software used for the construction management and then dealt with MS Project in detail. He gave detailed information about the usage of the software, its interface and working.
Taking an example of one of his ongoing projects, he taught about the resource allocation, management and scheduling in MS Project. Time and cost relationship in a construction project was also explained to the students. By sharing his screen on video call he himself prepared a sample project network on MS Project to make students aware about the detailed working of the software. Later he answered all the doubts and queries students raised after the lecture.
