A Guest Lecture on “Venture Capital” was organized for students of MBA (Finance Specialisation). 120 students participated in this session. The session was headed by MR. Sanjay Shukla. The session’s main emphasis was on the Venture Capital funding. He explained that the Venture capital is money provided by professionals who invest alongside management in budding entreprenuers, rapidly growing Startups, that have the potential to develop into significant economic contributors. Venture capital is an important source of equity for start-up companies. He spoke  about various types of funding’s such as Boot Striating, Crowd Funding, Angel Investors, Incubators, Accelerators, Risk Capital etc. He explained about the five  thing’s that investor look into such as Team, Market, Exit Strategy, Product Evaluation, Financial and Investment terms. He also give tips to all MBA students how they can work on their business ideas and look for investors, talk about different funding agencies who support the budding ideas . The session was very fruitful to gain the knowledge about funding and angel investors.
