Hackathon as a part of Winter Internship Programme TEXAS INSTRUMENTS on Campus Industrial Internship on Advanced Embedded System Design with IoT Applications
The School of ECE had organized Hackathon as part of Winter Internship Programme on “Advanced Embedded System Design with IoT Applications” on 17th January 2020 in association with EdGate Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Texas Instruments India, University Programme Partners, Bengaluru. The Hackathon was held in Open Amphi Theater, C V Raman block from 8.30 a.m to 3.30 p.m… Total of 20 teams with each team comprising of 5 members had participated and were given 20 different real-time problems. At the end of the Hackathon, all Solutions for the defined problems were evaluated by the Senior professors in the presence of trainers. Respected Vice chancellor Sir and Director School of ECE had witnessed the Hackathon by interacting with students who had participated in the Hackathon, followed by Valedictory.

- Motion detection and light controlling using PIR sensor

- Industrial automation to control motor on Temperature variation
- Multichannel data transfer for remote applications using RF communication
- Controlling a Robotic vehicle using Google assistance
- Free detection robot: roaming obstacle
- Robot navigation control using 2-axis Joystick
- Develop digital clock system using MSP430 and 7 segment display
- Automatic street light system
- Weather forecasting system using MQTT protocol
- Detection of vehicle at both side and triggering alert at both side.
