REVA University organised the Grand Finale of the Hackathon on Plastic-Free Rivers with AI, presented in collaboration with Kyndryl on September 8, 2023, Friday. The finale witnessed the culmination of 15 finalists presenting their creative ideas and AI-based technological solutions in the fight against plastic pollution in our rivers. This Hackathon aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG-14), Life Below Water and stood as a testament to our shared resolve to foster a cleaner, healthier environment. 

  Dr. P. Shyama Raju, Chancellor, REVA University provided the presidential address at the Grand Finale. Keynote speakers for the event included Sankara Srinivasan, Vice President at Kyndryl, and Naveen Kamat, VP & CTO of Data and AI Services at Kyndryl. They shared their expertise and experiences, offering unique perspectives on the intersection of artificial intelligence and environmental sustainability.
