Hands On Training On Basic Life Support

School of Allied Health Sciences in assosciation with REVA Health Centre organized a Hands on training on "Basic Life Support" at Dr Junjappa Seminar Hall, Science Block, REVA University on 18/02/2020. The training was provided by Dr. Mahesh Mylarappa, Head and consultant, Department of Emergency medicine, Columbia Asia, Hebbal. Any individual might come across an incident involving accidents at any point of time. At such situations, we should not panic but must know what exactly has to be done to keep the person out of danger. He explained the scenario making the audience feel the real life cases. 100 students participated in the training. Dr. Mahesh explained in detail the sequence of steps that need to be followed when the person stops breathing but has a pulse. Students were trained in person regarding the concepts of Basic Life support.
