Health and Wellness Assessment for Staff & Facultly
The Department of Physical Education & Sports in association with Department of Sports & Exercise Science are pleased to conduct a Health and Wellness Assessment to all our Staff and Faculty members.
Wellness Assessment starts from the 10th to 22nd of July 2024. From 8:30am till 4:30pm at REVA Fitness Center.
The assessment will help you in the following:
- BMI: It helps identify underweight, normal weight, overweight, and obesity categories.
- Body Composition: High BMI and body fat percentage can indicate a risk for obesity-related diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and hypertension.
- Muscle Mass: Low muscle mass can be a sign of sarcopenia (muscle loss with aging), which can affect mobility and strength.
