As a part of preparing students for their higher studies and creating pathways for higher learning, REVA University offers Aarambh - Let’s Connect, an online Immersion programme for all candidates who have enrolled into the B.A. programmes in Arts and Humanities. These candidates will go through an intense academic and industry interaction that will bring a very diverse group onto a communicative stratum from where they can begin to appreciate the value of listening to one another, interpreting thoughts together and working cooperatively and creatively to produce meaningful dialogues in the arena of Humanities. The USP of the programme is that students get to learn from their peers, view the School from the perspective of their seniors and their alumni interning or placed in reputed organizations, apart from faculty members and industry experts.
Module 1: USPs of the School; pathways for students during their three year journey as REVAITES; goals and expectations
Module 2: Current trends in Media Studies with emphasis on Media Literacy, New Age Journalism, Digital Media platforms, Corporate Communication and Citizen Journalism
Module 3: Positive Psychology with emphasis on stress management, self exploration, assertiveness training, time management, tips on concentration building and improving emotional intelligence
Module 4: Interdisciplinary studies – thinking across boundaries – making the best of a triple major programme
Module 5: Career paths and preparation – Avenues of Skill Development at REVA University
Module 6: Soft Skills with emphasis on interpersonal skills and communication skills
