Immersion Programme Schedule – July-August 2020

The Immersion programme of the School of Applied Sciences is for aspirants opting for the M.Sc. Biotechnology students. The programme focus would be on strengthening the basic concepts in biology.   This programme gives an opportunity for students to explore the concepts related to Life Sciences in a better way and helps them bridge the gap between UG and PG learning. 
Students who usually opt for M.Sc. Biotechnology come from various streams of Life Sciences and may find it difficult to understand applied aspects of Biology. Hence this immersion programme helps them cope with the lacunae and move further with confidence to understand the course in the best possible way in future.

The programme would focus on 

• Providing an insight into the world of Biotechnology
• Explore the basic concepts of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Plant Biology, Genetics and Food technology.
• The course lays a strong foundation for Biotechnology and bridge gaps between UG and PG programme.

Programme commences from 3rd August 2020 and goes up to 11th August 2020.

E-certificates will be given to all students.
