Industrial Visit to Axis Global Institute of Industrial Training

It is pleasure to inform you all that The School of ECE had arranged an Industrial Visit to Axis Global Institute of Industrial Training No. 28, second floor, 10th B Main Rd, above Lakshmi silks, 4th Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560011, IV B section 42 students. Dated on 28/01/2020, for the students of 2nd year (4th Sem B Section) consisting of around 57 students. These students were accompanied by Dr. Venkateshappa and Prof. Nirmalkumar S. Benni. The visit commenced at 9.00 am in the Morning.

Mr. ParushuRam Application Engineer, Bangalore welcomed the gathering and guided the students with initial presentation of the company and demonstrated the Vision and Mission of the AGIIT. Students were exposed to knowledge regarding the PLC, ROBOTICS, SCADA, SERVO & Field instruments.

Priya Prakash HRManager and Mr. Vishal Application Engineers are demonstrated and Explained working principals of the below systems. PLC:  A solid state device that controls output devices based on input status and a user developed programme.

• Record very large amount of data
• Minimum fault response time
• More no. of sensors can be connected 
• Maximize equipment life time
• Maximize safety- Public & Site
• Reduce man power 

Variable Frequency Drives (VFD):

• Controlling the rotational speed of an AC motor by Voltage/ frequency ratio. 

ROBOTICS:
    “An Automatic machine that replaces human effort, though it may not resemble human beings in appearance or function of a humanlike manner”.

• Pick &place(packaging & palletizing)
