Industrial Visit to ISRO – U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru
The School of Allied Health Sciences organized an Industrial visit to ISRO – U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru to provide an insightful experience for the students and 35 students attended. The U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), ISRO, as the name suggests carries out the satellite technology aspect of ISRO, Bengaluru. It is the hub for all satellites launched, related to communications, meteorological, remote sensing, navigation etc. The students were given a presentation on Chandrayann-3 and its creation, testing aspects, parts, and launch. We learned that it consists of Lander module, Propulsion module, and a Rover.
