The School of ECE organized an industrial visit to M/s. Titan Pvt. Limited, Hosur, Tamilnadu on 21/09/2019, for 31 students belonging to 3rd year (5th Semester) ECE. These students were accompanied by faculty members Prof. Ravi Shankar D and Mr. Nandhan S R. The visit commenced at 3pm, where series of formalities were undertaken by the security officials from the entrance gate to the respective venue.
The Titan is one of the major industries in Watch production. Students were taken to the following operational plants.
1. Movement plant
2. Assembly plant
3. Electroplating plant
4. Shining plant
5. Production plant
During the visit students were exposed to knowledge regarding the various major components and sub components of the Watch. Novel method of the Electroplating of the watch cases, manual and automatic assembly of subcomponents of watch using the pressing methods and adoption of 5S methods in watch industry etc.

Seshikala Madam, and Industry Visit Coordinator Prof. Anitha Kumari R.D, School of ECE for their contribution in arranging for Industrial Visit to VSSC.
